Any decision is better than no decision

It is very interesting to see the variety of renewable resource projects Alaska potentially has.  Its seems the list of sites and would be endless, the payoff would have a tremendous impact on both our wallets and the future.  Equally tremendous : the processes each would take to get moving past paper.  We are seeing the dusk of our oil production without new fields or massive innovation.  We also see the dawn of  new beginnings within the natural gas or renewable energy field.  Both are decades away.  What do we do in the meantime? Three things will happen while we wait. Watch oil production fall further.  Watch gas prices reach 5$.  Get ripped off at the grocery store.  We need to explore every renewable resource and make it happen.  We all need to adjust locally, nationally, and world wide to overcome our dependence on traditional resources, and shift to protect our earth by using our renewable resources.  OR / AND accept ANWR, the Arctic coast, and Gull Island, will be in good hands with our strict regulations and watchdogs and drill our way out. Pick one! Pick both!  Sitting on our hands did not make this state what it is today.
Any decision is better than no decision.

  1. I cannot agree that any decision is better than no decision. Saying nothing doesn't mean no, it just means "Not right now." The resource will be there, and will be worth more as other sources elsewhere are depleted. We can get more bang for our buck.
